Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using HostiInfo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HostiInfo.
2. Operator
HostiInfo is operated by [COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us", "our"), company code [COMPANY CODE], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Our VAT identification number is [VAT NUMBER]. You can reach us at [email protected].
Company details pending — not yet in force for paid plans.
3. Service description
HostiInfo provides a digital guest guide platform for short-term rental hosts and hospitality providers. The Service allows you to create, manage, and share multilingual property guides with your guests via QR codes and direct links.
4. Plans and prices
HostiInfo offers the following plans:
- Starter — free.
- Pro — €19 per month, or €190 per year.
- Business — €49 per month, or €490 per year.
All prices are shown exclusive of VAT. VAT is calculated and added at checkout based on your country and, where applicable, your billing address. If you are a business customer with a valid EU VAT identification number, VAT is reverse-charged and no VAT is added to your invoice. Payments are processed by Stripe; HostiInfo is the merchant of record for your subscription.
5. Free trial
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan. No payment method is required to start a trial, and you will not be charged unless you choose to subscribe. If you take no action before the trial ends, your account automatically moves to the free Starter plan — nothing is charged, and no card is kept on file.
6. Billing and renewal
Paid plans are billed in advance, at the start of each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose), and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage your subscription, update your payment method, and view invoices at any time through the billing portal in your account.
Upgrading to a higher plan takes effect immediately, and we charge a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period. Downgrading to a lower plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access to your current plan's features until then.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access to your plan's features until then. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable consumer law.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you ordinarily have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. By choosing to activate a paid plan immediately rather than waiting for this withdrawal period to expire, you expressly request that we begin performing the Service straight away, and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once the Service has been fully performed. [This clause is pending lawyer review — see docs/legal-review-2026-09.md.]
8. Price changes
We may change our prices from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change by email before it takes effect. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
9. Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will automatically retry it. If payment continues to fail, your subscription enters a 7-day grace period during which you keep access to your paid plan while we attempt to collect payment. If payment is still not received by the end of the grace period, your account is automatically moved to the free Starter plan.
10. User accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
- Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
12. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of all content you create and upload to HostiInfo. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. The HostiInfo platform, brand, design, and code are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reused without permission.
13. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HostiInfo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
14. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania.
